Uttara Kannada: Holiday for Schools and PU Colleges in 2 Taluks on July 9

Karwar, July 08, 2024: In response to a heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has implemented precautionary measures to ensure the safety of residents. As a result, schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in two taluks of the district will remain closed on July 9.

The Deputy Commissioner has announced the closure of all primary, high schools, and PU colleges in Honnavar and Kumta taluks on July 9.

Meanwhile, the Udupi District Commissioner has also declared a holiday for schools and PU colleges in the district on the same day.
