Heavy Rainfall Alert: Schools and PU Colleges in Five Taluks of Uttara Kannada to Remain Closed on July 8
Karwar, July 07, 2024 – In response to a heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada has declared a holiday for all schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in five taluks on July 08.
As a precautionary measure, the Deputy Commissioner announced the closure of all aided, government, and unaided primary and high schools, as well as PU colleges in Bhatkal, Honnavar, Kumta, Karwar, and Ankola taluks on July 08, 2024.
