Uttara Kannada: Holiday declared for Schools and PU Colleges in 5 coastal taluks

Karwar, July 05, 2024: With a heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has declared holiday for all schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in 5 taluks of the district on July 06.

In light of the weather advisory, the Deputy Commissioner announced the closure of Anganwadis, schools, and PU colleges in Bhatkal, Honnavar, Kumta, Karwar and Ankola taluks on July 06.
