Holiday declared for schools and PUC in 3 Taluks of Uttara Kannada on July 5
Karwar, July 04, 2024: With a heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety of residents. Consequently, a holiday has been declared for schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in two taluks of the district on July 05.
In light of the weather advisory, the Deputy Commissioner announced the closure of Anganwadis, schools, and PU colleges in Bhatkal, Honnavar and Kumta taluks on July 05.
Meanwhile Udupi DC has declared holiday for schools and PUC in three Taluks of the district.
