Heavy Rainfall Alert: Holiday Declared for Schools and PU Colleges in 3 Taluks of Udupi on July 05

Udupi, July 04, 2024: Amidst continuous heavy rainfall over the past few days, and with a heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Udupi district administration has implemented precautionary measures. A holiday has been declared for schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges in three taluks of the district on July 05.

In response to the weather advisory, the Kundapur Assistant Commissioner announced the closure of Anganwadis, schools, and PU colleges in Byndoor, Kundapur, and Brahmavar taluks on July 05.

However, it was clarified that no holiday has been declared for Degree, PG, Diploma, Engineering, and ITI colleges.
