Dakshina Kannada: Holiday Declared for Schools and PU Colleges on June 28
Mangaluru, June 27, 2024 – In response to a severe weather warning issued by the Meteorological Department for Coastal Karnataka, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has announced a holiday for schools and PU Colleges on June 28.
The Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada has declared a holiday for all Anganwadis, government, aided, and private primary and high schools, as well as PU colleges (up to 12th grade) in the district.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for the district, prompting the precautionary closure of schools and PUC to ensure the safety of students and staff.
