Liquor-Free Days Declared in Dakshina Kannada for Upcoming Elections
Mangaluru, May 28, 2024: District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has announced liquor-free days across the district from 4 PM on June 1 to midnight on June 3, in connection with the Karnataka South-West Graduates’ Constituency and South-West Teachers’ Constituency Elections 2024.
To ensure the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner, and to maintain law and order, the DC has ordered the closure of all liquor shops, liquor depots, liquor manufacturing distilleries, star hotels, and toddy shops during this period.
