DC Urges Swift Redressal of Public Grievances at Mangaluru Taluk Office
Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2023: Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan MP has emphasized the need for prompt responses to public grievances and timely redressal, urging officials to prioritize citizen concerns. He conveyed this message during his visit to the Mini Vidhana Soudha of the Mangaluru taluk office on Wednesday.
Recognizing the taluk office as a crucial service delivery point for the public, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan underscored the significance of the revenue department in implementing various government schemes. He stressed the importance of officers and staff discharging their duties with integrity.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the progress of the crop survey and fruit software registration in Mangaluru taluk. Expressing dissatisfaction with the non-achievement of the expected targets, he directed Village Accountants to give increased attention to these initiatives. Deputy Commissioner Muhilan urged farmers to proactively register with Aadhaar information in the fruit software, emphasizing that this step is vital for receiving crop compensation in the future.
Prior to addressing these concerns, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a thorough review of the functioning of various branches within the Mangaluru taluk office. He actively engaged with members of the public, listening to their grievances and gathering relevant information.
Mangaluru Tahsildar Prashanth Patil was present during the visit, emphasizing the collaborative effort to address and resolve issues for the benefit of the community.
