Public Hearing Scheduled for Tree Removal in Hejamady Kodi
Concerned citizens are invited to participate in the hearing and express any objections they may have regarding the tree removal.
Udupi, Nov 29, 2023: In response to the proposed removal of 192 trees obstructing the construction of a fishing harbor at the Government Paramboke site in Hejamady Kodi, a public hearing meeting has been scheduled for December 15 at 3 pm. The meeting will take place at the Office of the Udupi Range Forest Officer.
Concerned citizens are invited to participate in the hearing and express any objections they may have regarding the tree removal. Alternatively, objections can be submitted in writing to the Tree Officer and Deputy Conservator of Forests, Kundapur Division. All written objections must be submitted before the specified deadline or via email to [email protected] as outlined in a press release from the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Kundapur Division.
