Mangalore University’s Department of Applied Zoology to Host NCRTBS-2023
Mangalagangothri, Nov 8, 2023: The Department of Applied Zoology at Mangalore University is set to host the three-day National Conference on Recent Trends in Biological Sciences (NCRTBS-2023) from November 8 to 10, 2023, at the Mangala Auditorium, Mangalagangothri.
The conference aims to create a dynamic platform for scientists and researchers from across the nation to showcase their discoveries in the field of biological sciences. It also endeavors to inspire students to embark on a path of advanced research. Notably, recognition will be bestowed upon outstanding presentations, both in the form of posters and oral deliveries, as well as for exceptional presentation skills.
The inaugural session on November 8 will commence at 9.15 am. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Deputy Director Prof. S. Murthy Srinivasula will inaugurate the conference. Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayaraj Amin will preside over the inauguration ceremony, convener, Assistant Professor Dr. Narasimhaiah N and Chairman of the Department of Applied Zoology, Prof. M.S. Mustak, stated in a press release.
