Srinivas University Celebrates International Day of Democracy with Inspiring Event
Mangaluru, September 18, 2023: The Srinivas University Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities commemorated the International Day of Democracy today, with a thought-provoking event hosted at the City Campus in Pandeshwar.
Dr. Laveena D’Mello, Professor, and Head of the Department at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, presided over the event.
Alexander Joseph, an MSW student, recited the oath. This poignant moment served as a reminder of the enduring importance of democracy and the responsibilities that come with it.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing various academic programs, including MSW, BSW, and BAJMC. Among the faculty members present were Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof. Sushmitha, and Prof. Prajna.
