Child labor eradication was a significant point of emphasis during the meeting. Dr. Kumari condemned the practice of child labor and stated that strict legal actions would be taken against those who employ children. Mentioning instances of child labor in fishing at ports like Malpe and Gangolli, she instructed authorities to conduct surprise raids to identify and rehabilitate child laborers.
