Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy Radiates Festive Splendor with ‘Aaravam’ Onam Celebration
Mangaluru, Aug 25, 2023: The exuberant spirit of the Onam festival came alive at the Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy. Named “Aaravam,” this splendid event was held at the Pandeshwar Campus on Aug 23.
Dr. Rajashekar, the Dean of the Institution of Physiotherapy inaugurated the event. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Development Registrar of Srinivas University, along with a host of faculty members were present. The festivities brimmed with elation, seamlessly capturing the vibrant essence of the Onam festival.
Embarking on a spirited note, the event commenced with a mesmerizing dance performance, where lively music and resplendent costumes harmoniously contributed to the festive aura. Adding a dash of exhilaration, a gripping tug of war competition engaged the participants, who strode down the runway exuding confidence. This display showcased not only the students’ self-assuredness but also celebrated their cultural diversity and adept fashion sense, thereby amplifying the vivacious atmosphere of the Onam celebration.
No Onam revelry would be complete without the traditional Kerala feast, affectionately known as Sadyam. The sumptuous spread was relished by faculties and students alike, fostering a sense of togetherness and delight.
