Former CM Devaraj Urs Remembered
Bengaluru, Aug 20, 2023: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah offered a floral tribute to the statue of former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs at the west entrance of Vidhana Soudha, marking the occasion of Urs’ birth anniversary.
The ceremony was attended by prominent leaders including Minister K.J. George and Shivaraj Thangadagi.
Subsequently, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah proceeded to the Vidhana Soudha hall in the very car once utilized by Devaraj Urs. There, he presided over the Sadbhavana Diwas pledge, emphasizing the values of harmony and unity.
He watched the photo exhibition of Urs at a function organised at the banquet hall.
