Srinivas University: Freshers Day Held
Mangaluru, Aug 13, 2023: Vibrant energies converged at the Srinivas University City Campus, Pandeshwara, Mangaluru, as the Srinivas University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, along with the Department of Interior Design, orchestrated a spectacular celebration – Freshers’ Day, ‘Prarambh 2023.’
The event was held on Aug 12, marking the commencement of a new academic journey for the fresh faces joining the esteemed institution.
The Chief guest of the programme Dr. Venkatesh Amin, Dean Srinivas University -Institute of Management and Commerce administered the oath to the newly elected student council members.
Dr. Venkatesh Amin highlighted the significance of Hotel Management and Interior Design courses, praising the active participation of the students in various college events.
Prof. Swaminathan S, Dean, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and Department of Interior Design during his speech stressed about discipline and the necessity of active participation in various events in forthcoming events.
Prof. Prashanth Prabhu, Course Coordinator of Srinivas University – Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and Prof. Yogeetha Pai Course Coordinator Department of Interior Design were present on the programme.
Adi V Raj of II Year B.Sc. ID welcomed the gathering and Shravy Shetty of IV-year BHMCT delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was compared by Pavanraj of II Year BHMCT and Aqeefa II-year B.Sc. ID compered the Cultural programme.
Cake cutting ceremony was the main highlights of the programme.
