Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce Holds Orientation Programme 2023-24
Mangalore, Aug 10, 2023: The Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce kickstarted the academic year 2023-24 with an invigorating Orientation Programme held on August 10, 2023.
The event was held at the Srinivas University City Campus in Pandeshwar, where faculty, dignitaries, and students gathered to mark the beginning of a new educational journey.
Distinguished personalities graced the occasion, including Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University and President of the esteemed A. Shama Rao Foundation.
In his inaugural address, Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao emphasized that Srinivas University’s mission transcends the mere dissemination of knowledge. He stressed the institution’s commitment to nurturing students’ character, instilling discipline, and shaping them into conscientious individuals.
Dr. Rao encouraged students to not only excel academically but also to develop qualities that contribute to their growth as responsible and compassionate human beings. He further advised them to make the most of their academic journey during their tenure at the university.
Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University administered the oath to the incoming students. In his address, he underscored the nation’s increasing demand for skilled graduates. He assured the students that the institute is dedicated to providing an education aligned with the evolving needs of industries. Dr. Rao promised an upgraded syllabus that would equip students with practical knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen fields.
