Udupi District BJP Gears Up for Mega Event: Finance Minister to Speak on Modi Government’s Success
Udupi, July 12, 2023: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to address an intellectual gathering at Country Inn in Manipal on July 14 at 11 am. The event will focus on the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led central government over the past nine years. This announcement was made by Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, the BJP Udupi district president.
Nayak unveiled the ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyan’ pamphlet during a meeting at the BJP Udupi city mandal, chaired by Mahesh Thakur, the BJP Udupi city president today.
As per the party’s instructions, the Maha Sampark Abhiyan entails several activities such as conventions for senior BJP leaders, traders, and mandal executives. Door-to-door visits will be conducted to highlight the accomplishments of Prime Minister Modi’s nine-year tenure. Additionally, a team of 100 professionals and social leaders within the mandal, along with a booth-wise team of 100 active workers, will be formed. The month of July will witness strategic planning for essential actions, including a friendly meeting of mandal office-bearers and activation of the social media team.
Stressing the importance of the party’s workers, Nayak emphasized their unwavering dedication and ability to shoulder responsibilities. He called for the establishment of a strong party organization at the booth level, urging unity to preserve and enhance Udupi district’s winning streak in the Lok Sabha elections.
During the event, K. Udaykumar Shetty, the BJP’s Mangaluru unit president, hailed the district’s BJP workers as role models for the state, consistently achieving victory.
He congratulated those involved in sustaining the BJP’s Vijay Yatra in the district. Shetty criticized the Congress party for failing to fulfill election promises and imposing new conditions regularly. He also denounced the biased approach of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s budget, which neglected pro-people schemes implemented by the previous BJP government and discriminated against the coastal district.
Shetty highlighted the international acclaim for Prime Minister Modi’s governance, with India leading the world’s fastest-growing economy. He urged the people to work diligently, ensuring a significant margin of victory for BJP candidates in all upcoming elections by effectively communicating the achievements of both the state and central governments.
Mahesh Thakur, the BJP Udupi city president, expressed confidence in successfully executing the Maha Sampark Abhiyan, including door-to-door connectivity. He called for collective efforts to secure a resounding victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.
