Expert PU College Kickstarts Academic Year with Inspiring Orientation Programme
Mangaluru, June 09, 2023: The Expert PU College at Kodialbail commenced the academic year 2023-24 on a remarkable note with the successful inauguration of the First PUC Orientation Programme. Held at Expodium on June 3-4, the event set the stage for academic excellence, welcoming newly admitted students and their parents.
Themed “Igniting Minds, Shaping Futures,” the programme commenced with the resonating strains of the College Anthem, setting the stage for a momentous occasion. Symbolizing the official inauguration, the lighting of the lamp marked the auspicious beginning.

In his thought-provoking Introductory Remarks, Prof. Ramachandra Bhat, the Principal of Expert PU College, Kodialbail, underscored the significance of holistic education and critical thinking, encouraging students to broaden their horizons.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Narendra L Nayak, Chairman of Expert Group of Institution, delivered an impactful Presidential Address. Prof. Nayak urged students to remain focused and determined in pursuing their goals through discipline and hard work. The programme proceeded with insightful sessions delivered by B. Vinay Kumar, Member of the Academic Committee, presented the Academic Plan for the upcoming year, emphasizing the college’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
Providing valuable guidance to aspiring participants, Shyam Prasad S, the All India Competitive Exam (AICE) Coordinator, enlightened students about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the realm of competitive examinations.
Technology took center stage as Ankush N. Nayak, IT Director at Expert Group of Institution, conducted a session highlighting the technical facilities available on campus. He shed light on the importance of basic technical knowledge in the present era, specifically emphasizing its relevance within the Expert ecosystem, including online class platforms and digital payment systems.
Expressing gratitude for the collective effort that contributed to the event’s resounding success, Prithvi D’Souza, lecturer in Maths, and Bhuvaneshwari Shetty, Student Welfare Officer and lecturer in Chemistry, delivered the Vote of Thanks. The three consecutive programs were hosted by Joan Zita D’Souza, Ujwal, and Latha Shenoy.
