Dr TMA Pai Hospital celebrates annual day and Women’s Day with enthusiasm and fervor
Udupi, March 16, 2023: Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi celebrated its Annual Day and Women’s Day with great fervour at Udupi Town Hall on March 11.
The Town Hall in Udupi was filled with great enthusiasm and fervor as the event honored the hospital’s dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Udupi, while also celebrating the spirit of womanhood.
Vidya Anand, an active contributor to the welfare of society, and Prasanna Padmaraj, a successful woman entrepreneur, were felicitated during the programme on the occasion of Women’s Day. The hospital recognized their contributions to society and commended their spirit of leadership and achievement.
Dr. Padmaraj Hegde, Dean of KMC Manipal, and Dr. Ullas Kamath, Dean of MMMC Manipal were the chief guests.

Dr. Shashikiran Umakanth, Medical Superintendent of Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, welcomed the gathering and shared new developmental initiatives undertaken by the hospital during the last year. He also highlighted the commitment and compassionate care provided by the women staff, which is an inspiration to everyone.
The hospital conducted various cultural and sports competitions that brought together staff members from across the hospital over the previous three weeks. These competitions saw hospital staff members competing in a range of cultural and sports competitions, showcasing their skills and talents in various activities from Rangoli to Chess. Prizes were awarded by the dignitaries on the Hospital Annual Day.
The program ended with a variety of cultural events presented by the staff of Dr TMA Pai Hospital. The event celebrated the contribution of women in the healthcare sector and recognized the tireless efforts of all the hospital staff in providing compassionate care to patients.
