MAHE to host AppLab HackXhibit ’23
Manipal, March 15, 2023: Apple Developers’ group and Innovation Centre, MAHE, have announced their joint initiative, the AppLab HackXhibit ’23. This event is aimed at bringing together students from all MAHE institutions who are passionate about problem-solving.
The event will consist of a 36-hour Hackathon and a Tech Exhibition, with cash prizes worth ₹1.5 lakh up for grabs. Special prizes will also be awarded to women-only teams and teams that design apps for W20 problem areas.
The Hackathon will commence on March 17th at the MIT Library Auditorium and will be open to all tech enthusiasts and problem-solvers. Participants will form teams and develop a website or mobile app that solves a problem in one of the following key themes: W20 in G20, Innovation, or Upliftment.
The second event is a Tech Exhibition that will take place on March 19th in the Innovation Centre lobby at 2 pm. It will showcase all the unique mobile and web apps built by MAHE students. Students who are currently out of town doing internships can participate online.
“We are excited to extend our support for AppLab HackXhibit ’23, as it offers a distinctive platform for students to collaborate, innovate and create solutions for real-world issues,” said Dr. Mohammad Zuber, the Chief Innovation Officer of MAHE. He encouraged students to register for the event and showcase their work.
