RANG-2K23: Srinivas University comes alive with a burst of colors and music
Mangaluru, March 07, 2023: Srinivas University in Mangaluru hosted “RANG-2K23”- a vibrant and joyous celebration on the occasion of Holi.
The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Institute of Aviation Studies, and the Department of Interior Design at Pandeshwar.
The festivities were inaugurated by Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, the Pro Chancellor of Srinivas University, who distributed colors to the students as a symbol of unity and celebration.
The Chief Guest of the program was Prof. Er. A. Mitra S. Rao, Trustee-Member, Board of Governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru.
Dr. P S Aithal, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Ajay Kumar, Registrar (Development) of Srinivas University, were the Guests of Honour.
The celebration aimed to bring together the community of students from different departments and backgrounds, providing a common platform for all to celebrate the festival of colors. The event was attended by Prof. Swaminathan S, Dean, Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, and Dr. Pavitra Kumari Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies.
The event concluded with a lively rain dance, DJ songs, and a vibrant play of colors.
The students danced and played with colors, creating a festive atmosphere full of joy and happiness. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students of Srinivas University to come together and celebrate the festival of colors with their peers and mentors, enhancing the spirit of camaraderie and fellowship on campus.
