Belagavi session to provide relief to citizens: CM Bommai
Belagavi, Dec 19, 2022: The winter session in Belagavi from today will discuss various issues and will be a session to provide relief to the people, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking to reporters at the Sambra Airport before proceeding to Suvarna Vidhana Soudha on Monday, Bommai said issues pertaining to the region need to be discussed.
“Several subjects have to be discussed in the next ten days. The session is being convened to enact a number of legislations,” he said.
Reacting to Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah’s letter taking objection to the unveiling of the photographs inside the State Legislative Assembly, Bommai said it has not come to his notice yet. The unveiling of the photographs inside the Assembly is the prerogative of the speaker. But he will talk to both the Speaker and Opposition leader.
On quota for the Panchamasali community, the CM said no deadline has been fixed to give reservation to that community. A report from the Backward Classes Commission is expected soon
