Mangaluru, Dec 11, 2022: Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM)- Mangaluru hosted “Spectrum-2022”, AICS – Inter School Science Model Making Competition, on Dec 8.

Students from 23 schools in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts enthusiastically participated in the event.

Sr. Melissa AC, Principal, Mount Carmel Central School, and Ranjini Kotian, Corporator, Derebail East inaugurated the event. 

The chief guest stressed the significance of science and encouraged students to move beyond the ordinary in their pursuit of excellence.  

Kiran Vati, lecturer, St. Aloysius PU college, and Reevan Pais, lecturer, Vikas college were the judges of the competition.

Akshata R. Shenoy, Principal, Canara High School CBSE, Mangalore, and Shubhalakshmi, co-founder, Vrindavana Nursery School, Mangaluru were the guests of the valedictory function.

  2. Runners up – Gurukula Public School, Koteshwar
  3. Third Place – Canara High School – CBSE, Mangalore 
  • Non-working Models:
  1. Winners- Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Mangalore 
  2. Runners up – Anandatheertha Vidyalaya, Pajaka, Udupi
  3. Third Place – Podar International School, Mangalore 

Senior Category:

  • Working Models:
  1. Winners – Lourdes Central School, Mangalore 
  2. Runners up – Lourdes Central School, Mangalore 
  3. Third Place – Madhava Kripa Higher Primary School, Manipal
  • Non-working Models:
  1. Winners – Mt. Carmel Central School, Mangalore 
  2. Runners up – Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangalore 
  3. Third Place – Amrita Vidyalayam, Mangalore
