Foundation Day lecture in University Evening College
Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2022: University Evening College, Mangaluru Celebrated “Foundation Day with a Lecture on “Character Building and Social Responsibility” at Shivarama Karantha Bhavana on Oct 16 .
Resource person Manjunatha Kamath M, Assistant Professor, Dept of MBA, Sahyadri Institute of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru in his most interesting session told the students to know oneself, be socially responsible, creative and give back to the society before running the busy rat race.
Dr. Jayaraj, Principal of the University College, Nelyadi, told about the need to join hands in support of New Education Policy and to train students to be skillful to face the world.
Dr. Subhashini Srivathsa, Principal of University Evening College, Mangaluru presided over the function. She remembered how the seeds of University Evening College was sown, nourished and harvested and the hands which worked for the fulfillment of the long awaited vision.
Sachendra Lecturer in Journalism welcomed the guests. Prayer was invoked by Lavanya of III BCom. Mrs. Mamatha Lecturer in Commerce composed the Programme. Joyce Verendritha Lecturer in English rendered the Vote of thanks. Teaching and Non Teaching Faculty and Students were present during the program.
