With more than 10 lakh passengers passing through MIA last year, the airport team continues to bring forth a wide variety of cultural experiences for passengers from all walks of life and thereby add to their myriad airport memories.
Following the melodious bhajans rendered by the troupe with their signature dance moves, students from a professional college in the city presented the dandiya, Bharatanatyam, and Yakshagana dances. This was followed by the famed ‘pili nalike’ aka ‘Tiger dance’. Even as the sun slowly slid over the horizon, the ‘pilis’ took center stage and left all awestruck with their scintillating moves driven by the vibrant beats of the ‘taase’.
