Manipal College Of Nursing organizes Blood Donation Drive-2022
Manipal, Oct 02, 2022: As part of the ‘National Voluntary Blood Donation Day’ the Health and Social Welfare Committee of Manipal College of Nursing, organized a Blood Donation Drive on Oct 1 at the Blood Bank of Kasturba Hospital.
As many as 72 students, eight faculty from Manipal College of Nursing, and 10 staff from constituent institutions volunteered to donate blood. Among them, after the initial screening, 60 were eligible to donate.
The event was coordinated by the student chairperson of the Health and Social Welfare Committee Anusha Varughese, 4th year BSc(N), and the Secretary, Health and Social Welfare Committee.
Nivya Binoy from 3rd year BSc(N), MCON under the guidance of Dr.Melita Sheilini, Assistant Professor-Selection Grade, Faculty advisor, and Savitha Prabhu, Assistant Professor, Faculty Co-advisor, Health, and Social Welfare Committee.
