Institute of Aviation Studies organizes intercollegiate Pookalam Competition

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2022: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized intercollegiate Pookalam competition- MELAM 2K22 for UG and PUC students on Aug 26.

Pookalam is made using fresh flowers and petals, and is designed in honor of King Mahabali who is believed to return to his people every year.

Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, Pandeshwara organized an intercollegiate Pookalam competition for UG and PUC students on the occasion of the Onam celebration.

Students from various colleges took part in the competition and put their artistic skills and creativity on display. It was an assortment of colorful flowers at its best. The students were found keenly working on their designs.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr. P.S Aithal, Vice Chancellor, Srinivas University. Prof. Kavyashree, Course Coordinator, Prof. Anjana T.V, Cultural Coordinator, and the student representative Seema. K and Anusha. Prof. KavyaShri, Course Coordinator, Institute of Aviation Studies welcomed the gathering. Prof. Anjana T.V, Cultural Coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Chaitra, Lecturer, Institute of Aviation Studies, compered the program.
