Rashtriya Lok Adalat: 30,729 cases resolved
Mangaluru, Aug 13, 2022: ‘Rashtriya Lok Adalat’ was organised by the National Legal Services Authority, State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authority today.
As many as 35,649 cases were considered in the Adalat of which 30,729 cases were resolved and a compensation totalling to Rs 18,92,57,121 was ordered, said District Legal Services Authority Chairman and Principal District and Sessions Judge Ravindra M Joshi and Member Secretary of The District Legal Services Authority and Senior Civil Judge Shobha B Joshi. The National Lok Adalat dealt with pre-litigation, compoundable criminal cases, cheque cases, bank cases, motor vehicle accident compensation tribunal cases, civil cases, property section cases .
