Special trains for Velankanni festival
Udupi, Aug 12, 2022: Special Trains will be deployed in August and September for pilgrims attending the annual feast at Velankanni.
Details of the trains:
1) Train no. 07357 / 07358 Vasco Da Gama – Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Special Express:
- Train no. 07357 Vasco Da Gama – Velankanni Special Express will leave from Vasco Da Gama at 09.00 hrs (9 am) on August 27 (Saturday). It will reach Velankanni at 12.25 hrs (12.25 pm) on the next day.
- Train no. 07358 Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Special Express will leave from Velankanni at 23.45 hrs (11.45 pm) on August 28 (Sunday). The train will reach Vasco Da Gama at 04.00 hrs (4 am) on the third day.
Train will halt at Madgaon Jn., Sanvordem Curchorem, Kulem, Castle Rock, Londa Jn., Dharwad, Hubbalii Jn., SMM Haveri, Ranibennur, Davangere, Birur Jn , Arsikere Jn., Tiptur, Tumakaru, Chikka Banavara Jn. Banaswadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem Jn., Rasipuram, Namakkal, Karur Jn., Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur Jn. & Nagapattinam Jn stations.
Composition : Total 18 Coaches = 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 05 Coaches, Second Seating – 07 Coaches, SLR – 02.
2) Train no. 07359 / 07360 Vasco Da Gama – Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Special Express:
- Train no. 07359 Vasco Da Gama – Velankanni Special Express will leave from Vasco Da Gama at 14.30 hrs (2.30 pm) on September 2 (Friday). It will reach Velankanni at 19.10 hrs (7.10 pm) on the next day.
- Train no. 07360 Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Special Express will leave from Velankanni at 09.15 hrs (9.15 am) on Sept 4 (Sunday). Train will reach Vasco Da Gama at 10.00 hrs (10 am) on the next day.

- Train no. 07362 Velankanni – Vasco Da Gama Special Express will leave from Velankanni at 09.15 hrs (9.15 am) on Sept 8 (Thursday). It will reach Vasco Da Gama at 10.00 hrs (10 am) on the next day.
