Mangaluru, July 28, 2022: Unnat Bharath Abhiyan Forum of Srinivas University in collaboration with the Srinivas Institute of Rural Reconstruction Agency (SIRRA) organized Vanamahostava at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary school, Pavoor.

It is one of the adopted villages of Srinivas University under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Programme of MHRD, Govt. of India.

Pavoor Grama Panchayat Vice President Mohammed Ansar, Panchayat members Ravikala and Riyaz Ahmed, D.K.Z.P.H.P. School Pavoor Headmistress Rachel, Srinivas University Unnath Bharath Abhiyan Co-Ordinator Dr. Pradeep M.D., Faculty Convenor Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof. Sushmitha S. Kotian, Prof. Shreeraj S. Acharya and Research Scholar Shivaraj G inaugurated the program by planting a sapling.

About 19 students of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities studying MSW and BA Journalism and Mass Communication Courses along with 15 students of Bulbul and Guides from DKZPHP School Pavoor planted over 30 types of saplings on the premise of the school.
