Karnataka Naval Area Freedom Run @75 on Aug 6
Karwar, July 13, 2022: To commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Karnataka Naval Area will organize ‘Freedom Run @75’ on August 6.
The program held as part of the Independence Day celebration will be organized within the Naval Base in two categories- 5 km and 10 km.
About 750 people, including personnel from the Indian Navy, their families, and 75 students of Karwar colleges, will participate in the run.
In addition to celebrating the spirit of freedom, the program aims to provide an insight into the Indian Navy and its role in nation-building.
People of the age group are expected to participate in the event. Children of seven years to senior citizens of 81 years have already registered. It is also planned to felicitate septuagenarian (70 years and above) participants and distribute attractive prizes to the Podium finishers.
