Manipal, July 8, 2022: Kasturba Medical College and Hospital Manipal in association with the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, launched Gastrointestinal Radiation Oncology Speciality Clinic today.

Dr. Sharath K Rao, Dean, KMC, Manipal, and Dr. Anand Venugopal, Chief Operating Officer, Teaching Hospital, Manipal jointly inaugurated the Clinic by unveiling the Plaque.

Dr. Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Krishna Sharan, Professor and Head Department of Radiotherapy Oncology, and Dr. Shirley Lewis Salins, Associate Professor, Department of Radiotherapy Oncology were present.

The specialty clinic will be overseen by Dr. Shirley Lewis Salins who has obtained a one-year Clinical Research Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Radiation Oncology from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto. She will be available for consultation all weekdays.
