Ganpati Festival: Special train between Thokur and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus
Booking open from July 9
Udupi, July 08, 2022: Additional special train will be deployed between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Thokur in coordination with Central Railway on Konkan route to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival this year.
The train with 24 coaches will run daily.
Train no. 01153 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Thokur Special (Daily) will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 10.15 pm, daily from August 13 to September 11. Train will reach Thokur at 4.60 pm on the next day.
Train no. 01154 Thokur -Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Daily) will leave from Thokur at 7.30 pm, daily from August 14 to September 12. It will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 1.25 pm on the next day.
Train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki &
Surathkal stations.
Composition : Total 24 Coaches = 2 Tier AC – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 12 Coaches, Second Seating – 05 Coaches, SLR – 02.
The bookings for Train no. 01153 / 01154 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Thokur – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Daily) will open from July 9 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
