Vedavyas Kamath instructs police to stop cattle trafficking

Mangaluru, July 03, 2022: Mangalore City South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has instructed the police department to control illegal cow trafficking and cow slaughter activities in Mangaluru.

“Strict action should be taken against those indulging in illegal cow slaughter despite legislation. There are complaints of illegal slaughterhouses in Karnataka-Kerala border. The police department should work towards maintaining peace in the district by taking strict legal action against those indulging in illegal cow trafficking,” he said.

Kamath added that such activities should not be allowed in the district.
