Anshu Kumar appointed DCP of Mangaluru
Mangaluru, June 30, 2022: The state government has appointed Anshu Kumar as the DCP (Law and Order) of Mangaluru City Police.
Anshu Kumar is presently serving as the Superintendent of Police, Coastal Security in Udupi district.
The post of DCP (Law and Order) fell vacant after the transfer of Hariram Shankar as the SP of Hassan district recently.
On Friday the government also transferred other IAS officers.
Arun Chakravarthy has been posted as ADGP and MD- Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation, Bengaluru. He is placed in concurrent charge of the post of ADGP Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru.
Dr. K Thiyagarajan has been posted as the DIGP (Eastern Range), Davangere.
