House damaged due to rain in Udupi
Udupi, June 22, 2022: A house was damaged due to wind in Marne village of Udupi Taluk.
Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have been experiencing heavy rain for last two days. Officials said that roof of the house belonging to Sumathi of Marne village was partially damaged. The loss is estimated to be Rs 50 thousand.
Udupi district recorded an average of 30.1 mm rainfall.
While Byndoor recorded the highest (49.2 mm), Karkala had the lowest (20.8 mm).
Udupi Taluk recorded 36.3 mm, Kaup 36.1 mm, Hebri 32.6 mm and Kundapura 21.1 mm.
