Bhumi Poojan for development of Bhagat Singh Road
Mangaluru, June 22, 2022: Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath said that the development of Bhagat Singh Road will give a further boost to fishing activities in the City.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the development of Bhagat Singh Road at Hoige Bazar in the city on Wednesday.
“Development of Bhagat Singh Road has been a long-standing demand of the residents of Hoige Bazar. With the development of this road, various fishing activities will gain further momentum. As most of the fishing activities take place in the area, Mangalore Smart City Ltd has come forward to develop a 9-meter wide road along with footpath at Rs 1.40 crore,” he said.
Mayor Premananda Shetty, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation Chairman Nitin Kumar, Smart City Director Sudheer Shetty, and others were present.
