Manipal College of Health Professions inks MoU with Public Instructions Dept
Manipal 03rd June 2022: Manipal College of Health Professions, MAHE signed an MoU with the Department of Public Instruction, Karnataka School Nurturing Programme of Udupi District on June 2.
Dr. Arun G. Maiya, Dean, MCHP, and Govind Madival, Deputy Director of Public Instruction exchanged the MoU.
Dr. Ashoka Kamath, BEO, Udupi, Gangaya, Shivananda Nayak, Dr. Venkataraja Aithal U, Associate Dean, MCHP, Dr. Reshmi B, Associate Dean, MCHP, Dr. Bhamini Rao, and Dr. Sunila John were present.
The Manipal College of Health Profession in association with the Department of Public Instruction will take up all-around improvement of the Training Centre for the Children with Special Needs under Samagra Shikanan project, at Government Higher Primary School (GHPS) near City Bus stand in Udupi and will be extended to all other centers in Udupi district for both special children and the school health program.
Initially, the Department of Physiotherapy, Department of Occupational Therapy, Department of Speech and Hearing, Department of Optometry, and Department of Clinical Psychology will provide free evaluation and treatment to the needy children.
