Union Bank of India opens ATM inside Mangaluru Airport terminal
Mangaluru, May 14, 2022: Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) opened a new Union Bank of India ATM inside the airport terminal today. Located at the confluence of international and domestic departure areas, the ATM will help meet the cash requirements of passengers and all other stakeholders at the airport. Rajkiran Rai G, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India inaugurated the ATM.
Rajkiran Rai thanked the airport authorities for allocating a vantage location at the airport for the ATM. “Union Bank of India is all about customer experience. In that line, we have tied up with Mangaluru International Airport to install a new ATM machine in the departure area,” Rai said, and wished that the ATM helps fulfil all the banking transaction needs of the stakeholders.

This new ATM has been specially opened for the convenience of travelers using Mangaluru International Airport, the second busiest airport in Karnataka. The airport is the gateway to coastal Karnataka, Northern Kerala, and hilly region of Kodagu and a convenient hub to temple town of Udupi and educational hub of Manipal, Rai said.
The airport has previously opened two ATMs located at the city side for use by passengers and stakeholders alike. The airport is always in the forefront of providing additional convenience to the passengers and the move to open the ATM inside the terminal is in line with this passenger centric commitment. Senior officials of the bank and the airport were present on this occasion.
