Brahmakalashotsava of Paniyadi Temple from May 1
Udupi, April 30, 2022: The Brahmakalashotsava celebration of Paniyadi Sri Lakshmi Anantapadmanabha Temple will be held from May 1 to 7.
The temple, situated about 5 km from Udupi, is managed by the Puthige Matha Samsthanam. The Temple which has a history of over 1000 years has close connections with Sri Madhvacharya and Sri Vishnu Tirtha.
Under the guidance of Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripadaru of Puthige Matha and his disciple Sri Sushreendra Tirtha Sripadaru (Junior pontiff), the renovation of the temple has been completed and is now ready for the Brahmakalashotsava celebration.
The Brahma Kumbhabhisheka will be offered to Sri Anantapadmanabha Swami on the auspicious Mithuna Lagna on May 6.
Religious discourse and cultural programs will be held as part of the celebration.
Preparations have begun, and the volunteers are enthusiastically decorating the temple and the roads leading to the temple.
