Jalasiri Project: MLA Kamath performs Bhoomi Pujan in Maroli
Mangaluru, April 17, 2022: Mangalore City South MLA Vedavyas Kamath performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of an overhead tank near Holy Hill in Maroli.
The reservoir with a storage capacity of 10 lakh liters is being constructed under the Jalasiri scheme to provide 24×7 drinking water.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamath said that water will be supplied to 1,723 houses in Maroli, Valencia and Alape North wards from the water reservoir to be constructed at Rs 2.30 crore near Holy Hill.
He said that an overhead tank is being constructed to supply water to every house in these three wards of the Corporation limits and this will help in making water supply easier in the coming days.

R, Jagadish Shenoy, Vasanth J Poojary, Jagannath Adumane, Prashanth Maroli, Raghu, Arun Shetty, Ravi Satish, Teja K Suvarna, Harinaksha, Nagesh Devadiga, Ambujaksha Acharya, Janardhana, Anupama, Francis, Shivappa Amin, Boja Amin, Jerome Fernandes, and others were present.
