Dakshina Kannada ZP gets National recognition
Mangaluru, April 17, 2022: Dakshina Kannada Zilla panchayat has been selected for the prestigious Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Sashaktikaran Puraskar (DDUPSP) 2022 by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR).
Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr Kumar said that the award will be presented by the Prime Minister on April 24.
“This award is given to Dakshina Kannada District as the best-performing District in recognition of the good work done at each level, and in all parameters, including innovative projects and also for the exemplary performance in 2021-22,” he said.
