Saura Yugadi celebrations at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha
Udupi, April 15, 2022: As part of Saura Yugadi, Utsava was held at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha today.
Saura Yugadi marks the beginning of the new year as per the Solar calendar.
The Utsava Murthi of Sri Krishna and Mukhyaprana were placed in the golden chariot during the Utsava.
Paryaya Sri Krishnapura Matha Peetadhipathi Sri Vidyasagara Tirtha Sripadaru, Sri Vishvaprasanna Tirtha Sripadaru of Pejawara Matha, Sri Vidyavallabha Tirtha Sripadaru of Kaniyooru Matha, Sri Vishwavallabha Tirtha Sripadaru of Sode Mutt Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru of Adamaru Matha, Sri Vedavardhana Tirtha Sripadaru of Shirooru Matha were present.
Later, at Chandrashala Shrinivas Upadhyaya, the priest of the Paryaya Matha, performed Panchanga Shravana.
