Mangaluru, March 14, 2022: Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot landed at Mangaluru International Airport on Monday morning.

He is on his two-day visit to Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district.

On his arrival, the governor was given a formal welcome by the Dakshina Kannada district administration.

Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. Kumar, Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Madan Mohan, and other officials were present.

The government visited Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra and offered special pooja to Sri Gokarnanatha, Sri Annapoorneshwari, Brahmashri Narayana Guru, and other deities.

MUDA chairman Ravishankar Mijar, Additional DC Krishnamurthy, DCP Hariram Shankar, BJP leader Harikrishna Bantwal, temple committee president Sairam, secretary Madhava Suvarna were present.

The government is scheduled to visit Sri Kshetra Kodyadka and later participate in the ‘Karkala Utsava,’ at Karkala today. He will leave for Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.
