Minister Angara inaugurates Karkala Utsava
Karkala, March 10, 2022: Udupi District In-charge minister S Angara inaugurated ‘Karkala Utsava,’ today.
The ten day long event is organized by Udupi district administration and Kannada and Culture department at Gandhi Maidan in Karkala.
Inaugurating the program S Angara lauded the efforts of Minister Sunil Kumar in organizing the event.
“Such program will unite the people and provide a platform to display the cultural richness and pass it on to the future generation,” Angara said.
The Foundation stone for Rangayana was laid on the occasion. Various programs will be held as part of the Utsav till March 20.
“Karkala is famous for the tourist destination. This event will provide a boost to it,” Udupi DC Kurma Rao said.
