Weekend Curfew violation: MCC books 43 cases
Mangaluru, Jan 08, 2022: Mangaluru City Corporation officials have booked cases against 43 establishments for defying Weekend Curfew.
“As per the government guidelines, no commercial establishments are allowed to function apart from essential and emergency services during weekend curfew.
“Taking serious cognizance of complaints received on several establishments operating, defying the Covid19 norms, Mangaluru City Corporation Health and Revenue Department officials conducted an inspection drive on Saturday. A total of 43 cases of violation were found during the inspection,” a press statement from the MCC stated.
“The violators were warned and fined Rs. 12,000. Officials have also withdrawn two trade licenses.
