Muslim Okkuta president Ashraf condemns Salethur incident
Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2022: Muslim Okkuta president and former Mayor K Ashraf has strongly condemned the incident at Salethur that hurt religious sentiment.
“At Salethur bridegroom hurt the sentiments of a community by wearing an attire (of a deity). This is not correct. We strongly condemn this,” Ashraf said.
“Such behavior is against the wedding celebration of the Muslim Community. Nobody can support such behavior. Police should immediately take action against this,” he added.
