Udupi DC directs officials to create awareness about Covid
Udupi, Jan 04, 2021: Udupi Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao directed all the Municipalities, Town Panchayats, and Gram Panchayats to hold Covid awareness activities.
He was speaking at a meeting held at the office of the Surveillance Officer today.
The DC asked the Excise, Revenue, Police, Fisheries, Tourism, Transport, APMC, Endowment, Public Instructions, PU officials to organize an awareness campaign on January 5 from 5 m to 6 pm.
He directed the officials to identify and warn the people who do not wear the mask, those who do not follow social distancing, and those who are found spitting in public.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. Naveen Bhat, Kundapura AC Raju, DHO Dr. Nagabhushan Udupa, and other officials were present.
