Five arrested in connection to Neermarga attack case
Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2021: Mangaluru City Police have arrested five persons in connection to the attack on a person at Neermarga Padu.
Mohammed Riyaz of Adyar Padvu, who is also into the real estate business, was waylaid by a group of about 8 people on Dec 10 around 7.30 pm. They damaged the car and hit Riyaz with sticks, and bottles, and injured him.
Riyaz was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru City.
City Police Chief N Shashi Kumar had visited the spot and had given necessary directions to the officials on the investigation.
The Police officials who began the investigation have now arrested five persons in connection to the case.
The arrested are identified as
- Ganesh (24), resident of Kapettu Site, Bondantila village.
- Chethan Kumar (21), resident of Bantukatta, Padu, Bondantila village.
- Kirthi Raj (23), resident of Kattinja Site, Padu, Bondantila village.
- Suveet (20), resident of Rangapade, Neermarga village.
- Parikshit (21), Near Padu Post Office, Bondantila village.
