681 gram gold seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, Nov 19, 2021: Mangaluru Customs officials seized gold worth Rs 34.32 lakh at the International Airport today.
The 681-gram gold was seized from a male passenger who came from Dubai on the Air India Express flight on Nov 18.
Officials said that the gold which was in paste form was smuggled by concealing it in the body.
A case has been registered in connection to this.
